I have been buying KYC, but am now researching non-KYC sources like Hodl Hodl and Bisq. Is there a particular non-KYC on ramp that anyone recommends?

I don’t have any in particular to recommend, but I’m running Robosats from my own node so it’s completely private. I’ve used it a little bit. But it’s only for lightning transactions.

I really like the prospect of Robosats. It looks like you can accept payouts on-chain? So as long as you have a few lightning sats to fund the collateral on each purchase, it could be a great way to buy No-KYC - and in theory you could do this all within your completely private Start 9 Server environment.

I believe there is an option for doing on-chain transactions in robosats, but I haven’t tried it. I think some sellers/buyers allow it. But I do think running Robosats on a start9 is a really great privacy setup.

Oohhh... I almost forgot. The Trifecta? I have the cypherpunk firmware Keystone cold wallet integration with Feather and Sparrow ; )

Pleased to hear I did the right thing! I also have a monero node connected to my feather wallet... A fantastic privacy dual setup! Love your insights, by the way!!

Thanks! That’s great. I have the option to run a Monero node on my Start9. I need to explore that further.

Thanks Katie. I've just set up my Knots node on a 10 year old laptop! Quite the learning curve, as I decided to run it on Linux Ubuntu with no desktop environment!! I got there in the end and it's running well now.

Next challenge is Sparrow wallet...

I repurposed and old laptop and used an external ssd for both nodes. Going to set up lightning rails soon. It's a great project that is always evolving. Start 9 is a great option because it takes all the frustration of figuring out and troubleshooting involved. I really love Bitcoin, but I feel as strongly about Monero as you do Bitcoin. They are very complimentary architectures.
